ASSEMBLY ON RIGHT TIME, RIGHT PRIORITIES

An assembly on the theme “Right Time, Right Priorities” was conducted by the students of Std. XII Science, under the guidance of Tr. Smitha Pujari, on 12th August 2026. The assembly featured a meaningful skit based on the life story and achievements of Sonam Wangchuk, aiming to inspire students to think differently, make wise choices, and understand the importance of choosing the right priorities at the right time. The program also aimed to encourage students to value time, develop their skills and character, and make responsible decisions for a successful future.

The program was graced by the presence of Rev. Fr. Joaquim Fernandes, Vice Principal, who addressed the gathering and warmly welcomed the students of Std. XI. He appreciated the students for their wonderful performance and congratulated the teacher-in-charge for putting up such a meaningful program. Father spoke about the present scenario of Sonam Wangchuk and the students’ protests, highlighting the courage of youngsters and their determination to raise their voices for their future. He also shared statistical data on the challenges faced by youngsters in finding suitable employment and encouraged students to think out of the box by taking inspiration from Sonam Wangchuk.

Father also shared the inspiring example of Elizabeth Blackwell, the first woman physician, who pursued her dream of becoming a doctor despite the restrictions faced by women at that time. Her determination and courage reminded the students that life changes with time and one must recognize the right priorities at the right time. He encouraged the students to consider such personalities as role models and to develop their character and skills.

Father congratulated the students for delivering a wonderful and thought-provoking message through the assembly. The program concluded with the distribution of certificates to the winners of the Indoor and Outdoor Games by Rev. Fr. Joaquim Fernandes, Vice Principal, followed by the Vote of Thanks.
