Class XI Students Embark on a New Journey: Orientation Programme 2026 – Begin, Believe, Become

Don Bosco Junior College welcomed its newly admitted Std. XI students and their parents through an inspiring Orientation Programme held on Wednesday, 22nd July 2026, in the School Hall. Centred around the theme "Begin, Believe, Become," the programme marked the commencement of a new academic journey while introducing students and parents to the institution's vision, values, and expectations.

The programme began with a warm welcome to the dignitaries, parents, students, and staff, followed by the traditional Lighting of the Lamp. A prayer service and hymn invocation created an atmosphere of gratitude, faith, and unity, seeking God's blessings on the new academic year.

A comprehensive PowerPoint presentation familiarized the gathering with the college's vision and mission, academic programmes, rules and regulations, and the wide range of opportunities available to students. It reflected Don Bosco Junior College's commitment to academic excellence, discipline, holistic development, and value-based education.

Addressing the gathering, Rev. Fr. Royal D'Abreo, the Rector, warmly welcomed the students and their parents into the Don Bosco family. Reflecting on the theme "Begin, Believe, Become," he encouraged students to embrace every new opportunity with courage and confidence. Inspiring them to dream big and persevere, he reminded them that true success is achieved through faith, hard work, resilience, and a commitment to becoming the best version of themselves.

The Principal, Rev. Fr. Anthony Fonseca, emphasized the importance of a strong partnership between parents, teachers, and the management in shaping the holistic development of every student. He thanked the parents for entrusting their children to Don Bosco Junior College and reaffirmed the institution's dedication to nurturing young people who are academically competent, morally upright, emotionally resilient, spiritually grounded, and socially responsible.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the event.

The Std. XI Orientation Programme served as a meaningful beginning to a new chapter in the lives of the students. Guided by the inspiring theme "Begin, Believe, Become," the programme motivated every student to embark on their journey with faith and confidence.
