Turning Setbacks into Strength: An Assembly on Growth and Resilience

The Class XI Commerce students of the college conducted an inspiring morning assembly on 19th November 2025 at 10:00 a.m., centered on the theme “From Conflict to Growth – Learning from Mistakes and Failures.”

The assembly began with a cordial welcome and an introduction that highlighted the importance of viewing conflicts and failures as opportunities for learning and personal growth. This was followed by a prayer, setting a serene and reflective tone for the program.

A thoughtfully enacted skit illustrated how mistakes, when approached with the right mindset, can become stepping stones to success. The performance effectively conveyed the message that setbacks are essential to growth and transformation. Students further reinforced this idea through a brief speech on resilience and self-improvement, complemented by motivational quotes that encouraged positivity, determination, and self-belief.

The gathering was addressed by the Vice Principal, Rev. Fr. Joaquim Fernandes, who commended the efforts of the Class XI Commerce students. In his address, he emphasized the values of hard work, perseverance, faith in one’s abilities, and resilience as key to overcoming challenges and achieving success.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the collective efforts of the students and teachers involved in making the assembly a meaningful and enriching experience.
